Dubai Chocolate Fondue
The ultimate sharing dessert. A velvety pistachio-chocolate fondue served warm in a pot with a spread of dippers: strawberries, banana, marshmallows and kataifi-rolled treats.
Step-by-step instructions
Make the fondue base
Heat cream in a small saucepan until just simmering. Pour over chopped milk chocolate. Stir until smooth.
Add pistachio
Stir in pistachio cream and vanilla extract until fully incorporated and glossy.
Transfer to fondue pot
Pour into a fondue pot or small slow cooker on low heat to keep warm. Or use a heatproof bowl over a tea-light warmer.
Prep the dippers
Arrange strawberries, banana slices, marshmallows and pretzels on a board around the fondue pot.
Roll in kataifi
Dip marshmallows in the fondue and roll in toasted kataifi for a Dubai-chocolate-bar-style bite.
Serve and enjoy
Keep the fondue warm throughout the party, stirring occasionally. Refresh with a splash of cream if it thickens too much.
💡 Dubai Bar tip: If your fondue gets too thick, add a tablespoon of warm cream and stir — it will loosen immediately. Never add cold cream directly as it can make the chocolate seize.
