Dubai Chocolate Granola
Transform breakfast with this decadent granola: golden oats, whole pistachios, crunchy kataifi strands and dark chocolate chunks — all tied together with pistachio cream and honey.
Step-by-step instructions
Mix the base
In a large bowl, combine oats, pistachios and kataifi strands.
Make the binding sauce
Warm pistachio cream, honey and coconut oil together until runny. Stir in vanilla and salt.
Coat the granola
Pour the liquid over the oat mixture and stir until every piece is coated.
Bake
Spread onto a lined baking sheet in an even layer. Bake at 160°C for 22–26 minutes until golden. Do not stir during baking.
Cool and add chocolate
Remove from oven and leave to cool completely on the tray — it crisps as it cools. Once fully cold, break into clusters and stir in chocolate chunks.
Store
Transfer to an airtight jar. Keeps at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. Serve with yoghurt, milk, or sprinkled over Dubai chocolate ice cream.
